The Kussy Express is NOW Operating for the Season!

Posted by: Linda Derosier - 12/19/2009 4:42 PM (Winter Fun)

The skiers and boarders were anxious to board the Kussy Express this weekend.   With another lift to ride and several more runs to ski, riders enjoyed the first day of the Kussy operations.   The Kussy Run, Ben Hur Run, and Gold Run are now open.  Snow coverage is very good, cheers to the snowmaking crew!!

Why does suprise keep braking? You guys need to fix it or your going to loose alot of buisness.

best crew around.

Thank you for your concern about the Surprise Express. When a chairlift goes down our maintenance crew does everything they can to get the chairlift going as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding as we continue into the 2009-2010 Season.

When do you think Little Hope (my favorite run) will open?

Posted by: jimmy - Dec 21, 2009 6:58 PM

haha jimmy really!!!? how is terry peak going to lose business when the only other place with in 4 hours is deer mtn. even if suprise was shut down for the season, business would go on as usual for all the die hards out there, have you ever been there when just the stewart chair is open? the place is packed, lines out past the lodge. TP rocks, its my home mtn and will always be my home mtn. so lets not threaten my home mtn JIMMY.

Jimmy, the folks at TP work their behinds off whenever a lift has any type of issue. In my 5 seasons here I the longest I can recall a lift down is 5 min. This said if the lift is inop I am comfortable since I am sure that the TP folks are doing all that they can to resolve the issue ASAP. While keeping the safety of their customers (You, myself, JC, etc) at the forefront of their actions. JC is right in that one lift down is not going to stop most of us from having a great time. If you find it that bad you may want to consider buying a wii. Either way, dont WHINE JIMMY.

Saturday AM, @ 10:00 - Due to the Blizzard, we are opening slowly. Stewart Lift and Surprise Lifts are going to be running as soon as they can get them dug out. Kussy Lift is still on wind hold, we will be watching it throughout the day.
