For Beginners & Intermediates In Area '76

One-hour Group Lesson (ages 10 & up)
Friday - Sunday only (9:00 am & 12:00 pm) = $28

This specialized lesson will focus on Park Etiquette, Safety, Terrain Features, and Tactics. Both Ski and Snowboard sessions available. Instructor resources are limited in this field. While reservations aren’t required, they are encouraged. Call 605-584-2165 and ask for the ski school desk.

The following is REQUIRED to paricipate:

• Must be able to safely ride the Surprise Express chairlift
• Must be able to proficiently turn both directions and stop.
• Must have access to a helmet. (Helmet rentals are available in our rental shop)
• Must be at least 10 years of age.

Rail and Box Lessons at a Discounted Price!

2hr Private Lesson = $70(Friday – Sunday only, ages 10 and up)

Sliding Rails and Boxes doesn’t have to be a complete mystery. Take a 2hr lesson in the Park for only $70!! This lesson is taught in the “Wrap-Around” Format only. Where the student receives one hour of instruction from 9am to 10am, and then returns for the second hour from 12pm to 1pm. This gives them the opportunity to practice what they’ve learned all morning, and then set that knowledge in stone over the noon hour! It’s a great way to learn!

Price does not include equipment, day ticket, or helmet. All of the restrictions and requirements mentioned in the beginner park lessons apply to the Private Terrain Park Lessons as well.
